GANDHIDHAM: Caravel Logistics organised a trade meet in Gandhidham on June 16, which saw participation from Mr Saju Chacko, Managing Director, Mr Tom Jose, Vice-President (Finance), Mr K. Venkatesh, General Manager, Mr Moncy George, Senior Manager (Gujarat region) and other members of the Caravel family from various locations in India.
Representatives from the trade such as CHAs, Freight Forwarders, Shippers and officials from the terminals were invitees to the event.
Mr Saju Chacko, in his address, expressed his sincere gratitude to the trade for their continued support and encouragement to the coastal and export-import services of Caravel. He informed that m. v. Caravel Pride had again commenced its successful Mundra to Cochin coastal service from June 10 and that the export-import (KMJ) service of Singapore Trader had been replaced with the m. v. Courier, having capacity of 1,400 TEUs, to cater to the demand of the trade.
Mr Chacko also highlighted that the Mundra-Cochin-Mundra coastal run of Caravel Pride was now scheduled every 8 days to facilitate a faster service.
The meeting was a grand success and gave a new vigour to all present to boost business through mutual support and coordination.
