MUMBAI : Mr. Niranjan Hiranandani, Vice President of Indian Merchants’ Chamber, has taken over as the Chamber's President for the year 2012-13.

While, Mr. Shailesh Vaidya who was Chairman of the Chamber’s Law Committee, took charge as the IMC’s  Vice-President for the same period.

Mr. Hiranandani is the Managing Director of the Hiranandani Group of Companies.

The Group is engaged in building premium quality housing and commercial premises in the country.

Apart from construction, the Group has diversified into education, horticulture, hospitality, entertainment and retail.
