MANSA to demystify implication of GST on Maritime Trade at 1-day conclave on May 31

MUMBAI: Mumbai and Nhava-Sheva Ship Agents Association will hold a one-day conference on Implication of GST on Maritime Trade on May 31 in Mumbai.

Top official from Central Board of Excise and Customs is being solicited to deliver the key note address subsequent to which stakeholders will deliberate on the issues along with the legal partner and knowledge partner for the conference.

“Amid a challenging time for global economic growth, the development of GST comes at a time when major economies across the world are going through uncertain times. As part of its continuous process of empowering its members, MANSA intends to get policy makers, knowledge partners and legal experts to demystify the GST legislation and enlighten the members for a smooth transition ahead,” said Capt. Vivek Anand, President of MANSA.

Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys will be the Legal Partner while Deloitte Tush & Tohamatsu will be Knowledge Partner for the conference. MANSA has also sought the support of Ministry of Shipping for the conference.
