MUMBAI: As part of the regular training exercise for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) related crisis management, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) conducted a mock drill at JNPT on Wednesday, July 12 at the JNPT premises. The NDRF is India's specialised force for responding to natural disasters and CBRN emergencies.
Officers of Immigration, Port Fire Services, CISF, BPCL, DP World, APM Terminals participated in the mock drill conducted at the BPCL Liquid Cargo Jetty area. The scenario for the mock drill was a gas leak and about 50 - 60 CISF officers, Senior Commander of CISF, Deputy Conservator, Harbour Master and other officials attended the drill.
The CISF, BPCL, DP World and APM Terminals employees and officials appreciated JNPT for organising the drill.
