Forex reserves rise to USD 399.3 billion

MUMBAI: Forex reserves rose by USD 554.2 million to USD 399.3 billion during the week ended 10 November 2017. Foreign currency assets, the largest component, rose by USD 555.8 million to USD 374.9 billion. In addition, India’s reserve position at IMF increased by USD 0.2 million to USD 2.3 billion.

On the other hand, SDR declined by USD 1.8 million to USD 1.5 billion while gold reserves remained unchanged at USD 20.7 billion from week-ago level.
