COSCO Shipping Lines (India) wins "Best Shipping Line of the Year" Award for Gujarat - Far East Trade Lane at Gujarat Star Awards

GANDHIDHAM: COSCO Shipping Lines (India) Pvt Ltd. has won the “Best Shipping Line of the Year” Award for Gujarat – Far East Trade Lane for being the Top Performer at the Gujarat Star Awards 6th Edition held in Gandhidham on 25th November 2017 at Radisson Hotel Kandla.

The Award was received by Capt Chen Shaolin – Managing Director – COSCO Shipping Lines (India), Mr. Girish Bhagia, Mr. Henry Samut, FICS from UK Office and Mr. Rocky Zhang from COSCO Shanghai Office - Far East Trade.

Amidst high competition among the Major Shipping Lines in the Far East sector, COSCO Shipping Lines (India) winning this coveted Award indicates its growing presence in the Indian Sub Continent and the immense support received from the trade particularly from the West Coast.

COSCO Shipping Lines (India) currently connects India to almost all the major trading hubs across the World with its 6 Direct services from Nhava Sheva and Mundra, 1 from Pipavav and 3 from Chennai. 

Further the company will soon start more Direct services from India catering to regions like Europe and US East & West Coasts among others in medium term to leverage on the growing opportunity emerging from Indian trade.

Currently, COSCO Shipping Lines operates 332 international and domestic shipping routes, including 209 international services (including international feeder services), 37 domestic services, 86 Yangtze River and Pearl River shipping services, covering 254 ports in 79 countries and regions worldwide.

Capt Chen Shaolin attributed this Award to his dedicated team and immense support received from the trade, which he expected to grow even further in days to come.
