AHMEDABAD : India is expecting a significant growth in export demands for engineering goods from Czech Republic. The Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) India will take the “India Show” to Czech Republic in September 10 – 14 2012
While EEPC India foresees export growth opportunities largely in sectors such as electrical power machineries, auto components, paper, cement and scientific instruments from Japan, it expects the export share to go up sharply in steel pipe, electrical power machineries, auto parts and industrial tools sectors from Czech Republic. These two countries currently account for nearly one per cent each of India's total export of engineering goods. The export demands have been minimal from these countries earlier. But, now getting ample of enquiries.
EEPC India, as one of the lead agencies, is pleased to announce The India Show in Czech Republic gateway to Central and East European markets coinciding with MSV-International Engineering Fair at Brno Exhibition Centre, Brno during 10th – 14th September, 2012.
Around 150 companies from small, medium and large sectors will be participating to explore the potential opportunity.
MSV-International Engineering Fair, Brno is a leading industrial trade fair in Central Europe offering a platform for concurrent presence of key areas of manufacturing industry. Organised by BVV Trade Fairs Brno, the Show is well attended by exhibitors and visitors from all across Europe and provides an opportunity for new business contacts, investment decisions, knowledge transfer etc. The 2012 Show is the 54th edition where India will be present as the Partner Country.
In this connection, EEPC India, Sub Regional office, Ahmedabad organised a Seminar on Doing Business with Central & Eastern Europe & India Show - Czech Republic on 19th July 2012 at Hotel St. Laurn, Ahmedabad.
The seminar focused on the Valuable Inputs by Diplomats from Czech Republic. Information Booklet on ‘Doing Business with Czech Republic’. EEPC’s Role in boosting exports from India and information on subsidies like MDA and MAI Schemes and Focus Market / Product Schemes offered by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, and information about EEPC’s forthcoming Overseas Promotional Events, Interactive Session with the EEPC India, Bank, Diplomats, & Government Officials, DGFT present.
