COSCO SHIPPING and DP World signed an MoU on cooperation

BEIJING: COSCO SHIPPING and DP World signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Cooperation in Shanghai on March 22, 2018.

Mr. Huang Xiaowen, Executive Vice President of COSCO SHIPPING and Mr. Andrew Hoad, CEO & Managing Director of DP World Asia Pacific Region attended the signing ceremony.

Mr. Wang Ran, Deputy General Manager of Strategy & Corporate Management Division and Mr. Rashid Abdulla, CEO & Managing Director of DP World Europe Region inked the MOU on behalf of the two sides.

DP World is a leading enabler of global trade and an integral part of the supply chain. DP World has a portfolio of 78 operated marine and inland terminals supported by over 50 related businesses in over 40 countries across six continents with a significant presence in both high-growth and mature markets. Being the world’s largest shipping company, COSCO SHIPPING has maintained close cooperation with DP World in global shipping and terminal businesses. Thanks to the signing of this MOU, the two sides will further their global strategic partnership, enhance port, terminal and logistics cooperation worldwide, and make use of their scale and network advantages for a win-win outcome to support China’s One Belt, One Road Initiative.

Heads of the Operating Management Division and Public Relations Division of COSCO SHIPPING HQ, as well as executives from COSCO SHIPPING Lines, COSCO SHIPPING Ports and DP World also attended the event.
