Chennai: Thaai Container Line Private Limited (TCL), a start-up Non Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) based here, inaugurated its corporate office on July 12. TCL will start movements from the first week of August 2012.

TCL is part of TMT - Thaai Multimodal Trans Private Limited, a full-fledged professionalised international logistics service provider offering freight forwarding, Custom House Agent services, fleet operation.

The office was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mr. Saju Chacko, Managing Director, Caravel Logistics and Mr R. R. Padmanaban, ex-im consultant.

TCL now has its own offices in Chennai and Bengaluru and a network of offices at all major ports and Inland Container Depot (ICD) in India and overseas. Initially, box operations will be routed between Indian ports and South-East Asia.
