MUMBAI : MANSA appreciates and applauds the persevering spirit of the current JNPT Management in ensuring that this major project of lasting impact in the maritime activity of this Port is finally on stream.

It is with extreme sense of relief that MANSA Members read about the news of Jawaharlal Nehru Port signing the dredging contract for deepening  of the  JNP and Mumbai port channel to accommodate deeper draft vessels. This project was pending for almost a decade and culmination of all the efforts into reality is really a great achievement for the maritime industry of India, said the release.

Since we had closely been witnessing the traumatizing delays of the process in finalising this contract, MANSA has greater joy to see the project gets going, at  last.

 MANSA wishes to place on record its sincere appreciation to the  Chairman and his team  of  JNPT  for their  continuous efforts in relentlessly following  with various authorities to make this project a reality and look forward  to the  commencement of  the dredging  without any further delays and its completion at the earliest.
